BREAKING: Manchester City returned to training by July 11th
Manchester City Coach, Pep Guardiola’s squad will report for the first day of pre-season training on Monday 11 July. Seven weeks on from our dramatic Premier League title clinching victory over Aston Villa, it’s time to prepare for a new season.
New signings Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Stefan Ortega Moreno and Kalvin Phillips are expected to be part of the group at the City Football Academy on Monday morning. Enzo Maresca will also be back, this time as part of Pep’s first team coaching staff.
The Champions will spend the week in Manchester before a pre-season tour of the United States begins next weekend.

While in the USA, City will face Mexican giants Club América and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. Upon return to the UK, we will play the Community Shield against Liverpool on Saturday 30 July before the 2022/23 Premier League campaign begins the following weekend.
