No doubt, The 30-year-old is reportedly open to making a return to west London but a recent upturn in form for Real Madrid has seen Carlo Ancelotti change his stance on a potential transfer of the winger.

But it seems Chelsea has made the crucial decision regarding what happens in this specific transfer saga.

Liverpool are eyeing a shock move for the former Chelsea star this month. Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah both flew off to represent Senegal and Egypt, respectively, at the African Cup of Nations at the weekend, and Jurgen Klopp is wanting cover for his two star wingers.

According to the report;
