EPL: Conte hijacks Chelsea’s target transfer move player

Antonio Conte, Tottenham Hotspur manager, eyeing Chelsea’s target star player, as Thomas Tuchel offered was rejected due to Conte late offer to hijacked Chelsea’s attempt to sign Everton youngster, Anthony Gordon, according to journalist Paul Brown.

According to Brown, Spurs are interested to get the Everton star player signed, Anthony Gordon before the summer transfer window will close September 1st.

Meanwhile, Gordon had a breakthrough season under manager Frank Lampard, scoring four goals and assisting twice in 35 Premier League games last season. However, he is already the subject of an outrageous £60 million offer from Chelsea.

Spurs have kept tabs on him in recent months and could reportedly make a late bid to sign the England winger.

Tottenham are one to watch on Gordon because they came in for him earlier in the window and they’re still very interested.

“So, it would not surprise me if Spurs got into the mix before the end of the window,” Brown was quoted by Sportskeeda as saying.
