Good news as Chelsea leads the race for a £15 million star

The ongoing World Cup has provided an opportunity for clubs to start looking for players to sign in the January transfer window.

Chelsea have already secured the £15 million signing of Andrey Santos from Vasco De Gama, according to a report from Le10Sport in France.

According to the report, PSG had been close but had now given up because Chelsea were “quicker” to complete a deal.

Vasco was recently promoted back to the Brazilian top flight, thanks in part to the young attacker’s efforts.

Other clubs interested in Santos besides PSG, such as Newcastle and Barcelona, will have to look elsewhere.
