According to Bild journalist Christian Falk,

Toni is making his stay at the London-based club beyond this season his priority. While an initial offer from the club was dismissed, both parties are continuing negotiations in the hope of finding a common ground soon. Toni rejected the £140,000-per-week offer from the board because it fell short of what he wanted (£200,000) by at least £60,000.

The center-back reassured fans of his commitment to the club and Tuchel’s goals.

You know how the media likes to sensationalize these things by adding salt to make headlines. You will not hear from me until the day of the final decision. We still have a lot to do at Chelsea this season, and my full focus at the moment is on the City game. My agent is currently taking care of everything else,” He told SportsBild.
