Former Arsenal striker, still Barcelona striker, Pierre Emerik Aubameyang has been reportedly attacked by armed men in his home in Barcelona with the striker beaten together with his wife and expensive commodities taken from his safe.
The Gabonese striker has been a victim of robbery since his days in Germany. The news comes at a time when Aubameyang was closely linked with a move to Chelsea FC. Aubameyang has fallen out of favour from Xavi Harnandez side after the arrival of a former Bayern Munich striker Roberto Lewandoski.
It is against the law for any human being to be attacked and beaten sustaining injuries that he or she does not deserve. Aubameyang will be seeking assistance from the police who will have to use the CCTV cameras in his multi million house to locate the robbers.
Security of sportsmen has been under jeopardy with recent cases and this calls for an attention.
