RMA vs CHE: Timo Werner should start Chelsea preferred XI striking position vs Real Madrid

Chelsea football club will take on Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu tonight looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeat at stamford bridge last week in the first leg of the tie, Real Madrid won by 3-1 courtesy of a superb Karim Benzema hatrick.
Chelsea will need to score twice to take the tie to extra time and to do that we are predicting an attacking lineup that caused Southampton all sort of problem and more interestingly the same front three started last season in Chelsea 2-0 victory over same opponents.

The goalkeeper will remain the same as it was last time out but the three men central defensive pairing will see Cesar Azpilicueta come in for Andreas Christensen while Antonio Rudiger and Thiago Silva completes the back line.

Marcos Alonso although heavily criticized but he is Chelsea best LWB at the moment and must start alongside Reece James in the wing back positions.

In midfield Ngolo Kante and Mateo Kovacic should slot in alongside each other with jorginho expected to be on the bench this time around.

In attack Chelsea will stick to the rule that says, if it is not broken don’t fix it.
